I´ve been allways fascinated by how things work, why not to open something when it´s broken to see if you can fix it?
At the time I started with circuit bending projects, and some basic electronic bulding of musical instruments, I had no knowledge of English languaje and Intenet was a more complicated place if you wanted especific information. I struggled for some time until the passion became an obsession.
My first project was a “optic Theremin” that is a Theremin that works with light rather than electromagnetic waves. Was very simple but incredibly satisfying. I´ve used that little theremin for over 5 years in all my music performances.
The thing can gets as complicated as you mish, but the good thing is that internet nowadays is an enormous library of information, and plattforms like “Arduino” have aswel a very good comunity behind, that will help you in your progress if you need to.
